Job summary

A motor garage in Basingstoke is seeking a Vehicle Sales Administrator to provide administrative support to the Sales Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently process vehicle orders. This role can be either full-time or part-time, with a salary negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of previous experience as a Vehicle Administrator.
  • Experience within a main dealership in the Motor Trade.
  • Proven record of accurate processing of vehicle orders preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a Vehicle Sales Administrator for our Basingstoke-based Motor Garage. The role can be full-time or part-time. Candidates may have previous experience as an Administrator, Sales Administrator, or Service Administrator within the automotive industry.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent support and administrative service to the Sales Department
  • Ensure efficient processing of new, used, and fleet vehicle orders
  • Develop effective contacts with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Handle customer requests and queries to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist in achieving industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control
Candidate Requirements
  • Computer literate (experience with Excel and efficient typing skills)
  • At least 1 year of previous experience as a Vehicle Administrator
  • Experience within a main dealership in the Motor Trade
  • Proven record of accurate and timely processing of vehicle orders (preferred but not essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organized, efficient, with a keen eye for detail
  • Flexibility during busy periods (preferred)
