• £27.21ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35)
• £20.35ph PAYE

Job Description:

The candidate will join the Vehicle Safety Test Laboratories Test Team at Gaydon to conduct physical destructive testing on components, systems, and vehicles to meet Passive Safety Targets.

They will work closely with customers, using the data to advance engineering development or for compliance evidence by witness authorities and others. The role involves translating regulation and requirement test protocols, utilizing modern test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. The candidate will manage tests through to completion and produce timely test reports. The role may initially be on day shifts, with potential later shifts (earlies and lates).

Skills:

• Experience with physical testing in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of passive safety regulations and requirements, including FMVSS and ECE.
• Proficiency with instrumentation and data acquisition systems (e.g., force, displacement, acceleration).

Education:

A degree is preferred but not essential.

This role is INSIDE IR35.
