Vehicle Ramp Inspector - Nights

Location: Grimsby

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6pm-6am

Salary: £37,321 - £41,207 (depending on experience)

What You\'ll Be Doing

As a Vehicle Ramp Inspector, you\'ll be the final checkpoint before vehicles hit the road. You\'ll carry out thorough mechanical inspections to ensure every car meets strict standards—whether it\'s entering the program or heading straight to a customer. You\'ll also have the opportunity to perform mechanical repairs when needed.

  • Visual checks of keys, tyres, wipers, and lights (interior & exterior)
  • Under-bonnet inspections and listening for abnormal engine noises
  • Underbody checks including brakes and suspension
  • Function testing of onboard systems and equipment
  • Running diagnostic checks to identify faults
