Econ Engineering Ltd is seeking a Quality / Homologation Manager to own vehicle approvals, Conformity of Production and quality management. Office-based at the Ripon site with regular factory-floor involvement, you will collaborate with production, design, technical and sales teams and interact with the Vehicle Certification Agency.

Formación

• Experience in quality, engineering compliance, vehicle engineering or a similar field.
• Ability to understand and apply technical, regulatory and procedural requirements.
• A methodical approach and close attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational, document-control and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience of vehicle type approval, Conformity of Production or ISO 9001 would be valuable, but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide shop-floor supervisors with advice and assistance on vehicle compliance.
• Maintain Conformity of Production processes and control plans to ensure vehicles continue to meet approval requirements.
• Prepare and manage approval applications, extensions, technical documentation and Certificates of Conformity to ensure vehicles are compliant.
• Oversee the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and maintain through internal auditing, document control and non-conformance management.
• Act as a key point of contact for the Vehicle Certification Agency, coordinating on-site inspections and testing.
• Advise during new product development and vehicle performance testing.
• Support sales by conducting vehicle specification reviews to help ensure vehicles are suitable, compliant and compatible with our equipment.
• Manage logistics of vehicle completions and dispatches.
