Job summary

Motability Operations Limited is seeking a proactive Vehicle Prepper for our Coalville refurbishment centre. You will prep panels for primer and paint, mask and sheet vehicles, perform panel prep and minor repairs, apply primer and support the paint process, and deliver right-first-time prep work to reconditioning standards.

This is an on-site, permanent role requiring 45 hours per week across pre-dawn to early-evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Panel/vehicle preparation experience required.
• Masking and sheeting experience required.
• Primer experience preferred.
• Accident repair experience beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence (manual) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare panels for primer and paint with high standards.
• Mask, sheet, and protect vehicles during prep.
• Carry out panel prep and minor repairs.

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join our busy, state-of-the-art refurbishment centre in Coalville on a permanent basis.

This is a high-volume site with consistent work (no downtime or waiting for jobs) working on a modern vehicle fleet using the latest equipment and materials.

What you'll be doing

Preparing panels ready for primer and paintMasking and sheeting vehicles to a high standardCarrying out panel preparation and minor repairsApplying primer and supporting the paint processDelivering right-first-time prep work to reconditioning standards

Due to the nature of this role we will require you on-site in Coalville 5-days per week.

Package

Up to £37,000 basic salaryBonus up to 15%15% pension contribution

Hours

45 hours per week9-hour shifts between 06:30 - 18:00Shift patterns discussed at interview
