Pay: £17.28 per hour (£40,435 per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm or Tuesday - Saturday 6am - 4pm
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays

NOTE: You must have previous vehicle preparation experience to be considered for this role.

THE JOB

We need an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join a busy bodyshop in Bedford. This is a full-time, permanent position with good pay and regular hours.

YOUR DAILY WORK

As a Vehicle Prepper, you'll be:

  • Sanding and preparing vehicle surfaces
  • Applying body filler to dents and damaged areas
  • Masking vehicles properly for painting
  • Priming surfaces to ensure good paint adhesion
  • Preparing bumpers and panels for paint
  • Making sure vehicles are ready for the paint stage
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
WHAT YOU NEED
  • At least 1 year experience as a Vehicle Prepper in a bodyshop
  • Good knowledge of sanding techniques and materials
  • Experience with body filler application
  • Skills in masking and priming
  • Full driving license preferred

Experience with painting would be an advantage but is not essential.
