My client is a main car dealership based in Norwich and is currently looking for a vehicle preparation technician to join their team

About the position

The successful candidate for our Used Vehicle Preparation Controller vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role, proven customer service skills and show the ability to work to deadlines and targets as well as working well in a team.

You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Used Vehicle Preparation Controller position involves:

  • Supporting the operation of the Sales department by providing co-ordination and administrative duties
  • Appraisal of all stock vehicles delivered to site, on day of arrival
  • Inspecting, costing, and instructing cosmetic and mechanical preparation to bring all vehicles to Volkswagen Display Standards
  • Organising, directing and controlling all of the activities of the preparation department to achieve a consistently high standard of workmanship, whilst optimising effective and efficient use of material and personnel resources
  • Maintaining showroom and stock management;
  • Providing exceptional customer service that leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
