Job summary

THE RECRUITMENT FIX LIMITED is recruiting a Vehicle Panel Technician for a role in Rochdale to repair accident-damaged vehicles to original specification. You will perform non-structural and structural repairs, use jig and pulling equipment, and liaise with estimators on additional parts required.

The role requires Level 3 City and Guilds or ATA equivalent in panel repair and welding qualifications BS10125; hours are Monday to Friday days, with optional Saturdays by agreement.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds or ATA equivalent in panel repair.
• Required welding qualifications as per BS10125.
• Experience with jig and pulling equipment and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace non-structural damaged parts.
• Perform cold filler and cosmetic repairs.
• Remove and replace structural panels to manufacturer specifications.
• Use jig and pulling equipment for panel alignment.
• Liaise with estimators regarding additional repairs/parts needed.
• Complete quality control sections for BS10125.
• Quality check own work including lights, air conditioning and fluids.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned and complete daily time sheets.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work area and meet customer service expectations.
