Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment in Dartford is seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician and Prepper for a permanent weekday role at a busy accident repair centre. You will prepare panels, sand, fill, mask, prime and apply finishes to a high standard within a tight schedule.

The ideal candidate has previous bodyshop experience, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team, with overtime possible and no Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Paint Technician, Painter or Prepper.
• Ability to prepare and paint to high standard.
• Capable of working in a busy accident repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles/panels for refinishing.
• Sand, fill, mask and prime as required.
• Mix and match paints accurately and apply finishes.
• Carry out quality checks and rectify imperfections.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer/bodyshop standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the bodyshop team to meet deadlines.
