Job Description:

We are looking to appoint a Qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to compliment our existing busy Bodyshop team.
The successful individual must ensure the highest quality standards are maintained, specializing in car body repairs and crash repairs.

Job Title: Bodyshop Paint Sprayer

Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time

Hours of work: 5 days a week (overtime available on request)

Position Pays: Competitive - to be discussed at interview and based on experience.

The Opportunity

As a Paint Technician, you will carry out body repair and paint work, focusing on quality and speed to meet franchised dealership standards. You will ensure vehicles are prepared to high standards, complete jobs within agreed time frames, maintain productivity, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role involves working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.

More About You

You should have experience in all aspects of paint preparation and water-based paint techniques, hold at least a City and Guilds qualification in spray painting or equivalent, and demonstrate attention to detail in paint preparation and application. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH, is essential. A minimum of two years' experience as a Vehicle Painter in a Bodyshop environment and a full UK driving license are required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and manufacturers are important.
