Job summary

JM Selection Ltd is recruiting an Automotive Paint Sprayer for a very busy bodyshop serving a nationwide fleet car company. You will prepare, spray and finish vehicles to ensure colour match and a high-quality finish in line with company standards.

Role requires masking, sanding and the use of paint systems, with emphasis on safety and efficient workflow. Note that your own equipment and PPE are not provided, and you will work Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles including masking, sanding and masking prep for spraying.
• Spray paint to required finish and colour match.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working environment; handle tools properly.
• Follow company health and safety policies and attend training as necessary.
• Ensure final finish meets customer and company standards.

We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Paint Sprayer for a very busy bodyshop for a national wide fleet car company.

The general role will involve preparation, spraying and finishing vehicles in an efficient manner to ensure correctness of colour match and final finish to the Company and customers expected standard.

Role Responsibilities

• Have an understanding of the general principles of spray-painting technology, paint composition, paint mixing and the various methods of paint spraying vehicles. Also to update your knowledge regularly when product developments/improvements take place. Attend training courses as necessary.
• Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding and other necessary preparation work. Spray paint to the required finish/standard always having regard for customer care/satisfaction. Roll priming experience is an advantage.
• Always use the prescribed Safety apparatus/clothing and attend Company arranged medicals and follow all necessary guidance provided by the medical professionals. Report any deterioration in health or vision to your manager without delay.
• Keep all Company tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition paying particular attention to the reduction of any fire hazards.
• To be aware of and adhere to all the housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.
