Job summary

Drive Recruiting is assisting a Glasgow-based client in finding a Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join a highly skilled team. The role involves preparing surfaces, buffing, polishing and priming before spray painting, followed by a quality check to ensure defect-free paintwork.

You will report to the bodyshop manager on completion or if issues arise. The position is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, with a £17–£19 per hour rate and a 7am–4pm shift (flexible).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bodyshop experience as a vehicle paint sprayer.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools required.
• Able to work in a team and also independently if needed.
• Able to meet deadlines and targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, buff, polish and prime before spray painting.
• Carry out spray painting and ensure quality checks on completion.
• Report to the bodyshop manager about progress or issues.

Job description

Our client is looking for a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for their highly skilled and welcoming team in Glasgow.

Description: Vehicle spray painters out all aspects of preparing vehicles including buffing, polishing and priming surfaces before spray painting. Once the job has been complete, there will be a quality check to make sure there are no defects to the paintwork done. Reporting to the bodyshop manager once done or if there are any other problems you notice with the vehicle.

What we are offering:

• Full time/permanent.
• Monday - Friday.
• £17 - £19 per hour
• 7am - 4pm. - FLEXIBLE

Qualifications/Requirements

• Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer of at least 2 years
• Full UK driver's License
• Be able to work in a team and independently if needed
• You will need your own tools
• Achieve deadline and targets that are set out
• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair
• ATA Qualification would be an advantage
• Previous bodyshop Paint Sprayer experience is essential
