Manpower currently has a great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer, either from a bodyshop or accident repair background, to join a well-recognized accident repair centre in the industry.

The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter
  1. Paint damaged vehicles that have been repaired to a high standard.
  2. Be familiar with up-to-date water-based paint systems.
  3. Prepare vehicles for painting by hand or machine.
  4. Mix and match paint by eye or using computer technology to ensure correct colour matching.
  5. Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns, and rub down surfaces between coats.
  6. Touch up paintwork and polish vehicles.
  7. Possess knowledge of blending paintwork.
  8. Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing the finished paintwork.
  9. Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
  10. Spray paint on entire vehicles.
  11. Work within a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to specific areas.
  12. Be comfortable working in a painting environment.
  13. Must have experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer.
Job Experience Required:
  • Experience in car painting and technical knowledge within the accident repair and bodyshop industry.
  • Skills in applying knowledge to ensure high-quality work.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start, working days, paying £19.23 per hour.
