Job Description:

Skills Provision is searching for a qualified and suitably skilled Vehicle Mechanic.

This role is situated in Essex, United Kingdom.

The employing company specialise in the repair and maintenance of Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche

Visa sponsorship is available for this position if required.

Title: Vehicle Mechanic

Position: Full time

Working Hours

· Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm (45 hours per week)

· 15 minutes break in the morning

· 15 minutes break in the afternoon

The Role

· Identify manually and using computer-guided diagnostics vehicle faults

· Plan work to be undertaken

· Maintain accurate records of work in progress and completed

· Test parts and systems to verify they are in working order

· Carry out basic vehicle care e.g. tire change/oil

· Explain faults to customers

Requirements

Requirements

· 3+ years of experience in a similar role

· Formal qualification would be preferred e.g. Apprenticeship or similar

· Understands the workings of Diesel / Petrol engines) and the mechanical structure of a vehicle

· Knowledgeable in Electrics and has the capability of diagnosing faults

· Confident in Engine Rebuilding, Head Gasket replacement, and Timing Chain changes

· Worked with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi and Porsche

· Valid car driving license

· If applying from outside of the UK, the ability to meet the Skilled Worker Visa requirements e.g., IELTS
