Are you a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent?

Join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company known for excellent training and progression programs. The company often works on large-scale projects across the UK. This role offers funded qualifications, opportunities for progression to supervisor or assessor roles, and the possibility of a 4-day workweek.

The successful Vehicle Mechanic/Technician will service, repair, diagnose, and maintain vehicles, including hydraulic and electrical systems. Responsibilities also include vehicle inspections, managing material demands, and completing documentation and test reports in line with current standards.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or higher and seek a role in a well-established company working on top-secret defence projects with opportunities for extra earnings, training, and career progression.

THE ROLE:

• Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostics and inspections.
• Follow customer requirements, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of stores and equipment.
• Diagnose, assess, and document vehicle and equipment status, manage material demands, and complete test reports.

THE PERSON:

• Aspiring Vehicle Mechanic / Technician
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or relevant experience

Optional Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Thursday - 6:45am to 5:30pm
• Monday to Thursday - 8:00am to 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm
• Overtime paid at 1.5x; Sundays at 2x
