Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic in Bristol with progression to Mastertech. The role offers £35,000 - £45,000 base salary plus a £5k bonus, funded qualifications, training and clear progression into a Mastertech position.

Join a longstanding group with 50+ years in the industry and a focus on development. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, Saturdays on a 1 in 5 rota; NVQ3+ required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance or related.
• Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general service and maintenance on vehicles.
• Carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Conduct road tests and assist with MOT preparation.
• Coordinate with service advisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Are you a Vehicle Mechanic, holding an NVQ Level 3 or above in vehicle maintenance or similar, looking to join a rapidly growing company, offering professional qualification support and training in order to progress you into a Mastertech role?

In this role, you will be responsible for performing general service and maintenance duties, alongside diagnostics, troubleshooting and vehicle repair. You will also carry out road tests when required, alongside assisting with MOT preparation duties, liaising closely with the service advisor team to ensure a smooth process.

This role would suit a Vehicle Mechanic holding an NVQ Level 3 or above within vehicle maintenance or related, looking to continue their career progression into a Mastertech.

The Role:

• General service and maintenance
