Job summary

Forge Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic for our busy local garage. You will service, inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of cars, vans and light commercial vehicles to a high standard.

You’ll diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment and manual checks, work to manufacturer and company standards, and keep a clean, safe workshop. A full UK driving licence is essential, MOT tester status is advantageous; the role offers overtime, a competitive salary, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
• Previous experience working in a garage/workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• MOT tester advantages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and MOT preparation on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual checks.
