Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a Stroud-based client to recruit a Vehicle Mechanic (Agricultural). The role offers specialist training and plenty of optional overtime to boost earnings.

Salary is £32,000 - £37,000 plus overtime (OTE £42K), with training, pension and company benefits. You’ll prepare vehicles for MOTs, perform HGV checks and service cement mixers, chainsaws and excavators, working Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm. Occasional on-site calls within an hour patch.

• Vehicle mechanic or similar with experience.
• Interest in specialist training and overtime opportunities.

Are you a Vehicle Mechanic or similar, looking to join a thriving company offering specialist training on a range of machinery to upskill your career with plenty of optional overtime to boost your earnings?

In this role you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for their MOTs, undertaking HGV checks and carrying out the maintenance cement mixers, chainsaws and excavators. You will be keeping records and planning routine checks and tests. Occasionally you will be going out on site in a provided van within an hour patch to sort out breakdowns.

They are a versatile construction contractor specialising in groundworks, refurbishment, landscaping, and electrical services across Central England, Wales, and the Southwest.

This role would suit a Vehicle Mechanic, looking for specialist training and ample overtime to boost their earnings.
