Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic (Fleet)

Location:

Swindon

Hours:

Monday to Friday, with a rotating shift pattern:

  1. Week 1: 06:00 - 14:30
  2. Week 2: 12:30 - 20:00
One in 3 Saturdays on a rota (Day off in the week)
Salary:

Up to £38,114 Basic + Bonus (OTE £50,000+)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our client’s commercial dealership in Swindon. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software for complex problem resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
  • Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:
  • Experience as a vehicle mechanic
  • Relevant and up-to-date Level 3 qualification
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Own a stocked toolbox suitable for work
