Job Opportunity: Vehicle Mechanic

First Military Recruitment is proudly partnering with a renowned International Defence company to recruit multiple Vehicle Mechanics on a permanent basis due to growth. The position is based at their Catterick depot.

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced military vehicles, expand your mechanical expertise, and enjoy excellent career progression opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Service, maintain, and repair vehicle components and accessories following company, client, and manufacturer instructions.
  2. Remove and refit parts safely, properly, and cost-effectively using provided equipment.
  3. Diagnose faults and test vehicles using available equipment and recognized procedures.
  4. Complete all relevant documentation to the required standards.
  5. Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies through company training programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Mechanic with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
