Vehicle Mechanic - Military Vehicles

First Military Recruitment is proudly partnering with an international Defence company to recruit multiple Vehicle Mechanics on a permanent basis at their Aldergrove depot.

Role Overview:

This position offers the unique opportunity to work on military vehicles, enhancing your mechanical skills and providing excellent career advancement prospects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Service, maintain, and repair vehicle components and accessories according to company, client, and manufacturer instructions.
  2. Remove and refit parts safely and efficiently using provided equipment.
  3. Diagnose faults and test vehicles using available equipment and recognized procedures.
  4. Complete all required documentation accurately.
  5. Stay updated with the latest vehicle technology through company training programs.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Fully qualified Mechanic, NVQ Level 3 or higher.
  2. Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  3. Attention to detail and quality.
  4. Ability to work under pressure.
  5. Problem-solving skills.
Job Details:
  • Location: Aldergrove, County Antrim, NI
  • Salary: £30,371 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week, overtime available
