Summary

We are currently recruiting a Vehicles Management Coordinator to join our friendly Head Office team in Stockport. This is a busy and responsible job which will offer job satisfaction to someone with a conscientious and diligent approach who enjoys providing great customer service and solving problems. You will be responsible for DVLA driver compliance checks for specific services/employees and be able to work autonomously. As you will need to arrange to collect vehicles across the country you must be flexible to travel as and when required. Candidates will also need to review relevant legislation to ensure we comply with any new requirements either through lease vehicles pool cars or DVLA which will be used to update policies and inform practice.

The role will be to manage the purchasing and supply requirements, maintenance and repairs for the company's fleet of vehicles. Managing the procurement of all company vehicles, and the disposal when they come to the end of agreed lease. You will have excellent negotiating skills to ensure you obtain the best value deals on leasing options, repairs, maintenance and insurance. Protect the value of company vehicle assets and ensure that company vehicles are correctly signed out and returned using vehicle inspection sheets to assess damage and standards. You must be a confident and motivated individual with the ability to work independently. The role also includes the oversight and administration of parking/driving fines.

You must have prior experience gained in a responsible, customer-focused administrative role and have experience of managing fleet vehicles. You must be able to input data accurately and be able to maintain up to date records. A good standard of numeracy and literacy is required and you must be competent in the use of IT, including word and excel. Car driver is essential for this role.

This is a full time position (37.5 hours). Our offices are readily accessible on public transport as we are based in the centre of Stockport close to the mainline train station and with frequent buses into Manchester.
