Job summary

Day's Rental is seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician in the UK. You will perform maintenance from a base workshop, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair vehicles and equipment.

You will report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a valued team. The role requires NVQ 3 or City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance, demonstrable experience in a similar role, and a valid UK driving licence (D1 entitlement is advantageous).

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• A clean driving licence, ideally with D1 entitlement.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop.
• Responding to breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Repairing vehicles and equipment.
• Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and working as part of a valued team.
