Join Our Team as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician!

Salary: £41,055 per annum, plus excellent benefits and OT opportunity

About the Role

At Calor Gas, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our on-site workshop in Neath. You will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of vehicles and trailers to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on vehicles and trailers.
  • Conduct fault analysis and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic is essential.
  • City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems, and pneumatic components.
  • Problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: HGV C+E license (Class 1) and ADR certification.
Skills & Mindset
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, safety-conscious.
  • Excellent communication skills.
