Job description

Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Location: Bury
Hourly Rate: £20.77 Weekly Base Salary: £830.80
Hours: 40hrs a week - Overtime paid at time and half


Overview:
Manpower Engineering are recruiting for a dynamic fleet maintenance team in Ramsbottom as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, working in a state-of-the-art workshop for a global leader in logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for maintaining a fleet of Mercedes Axor and Mercedes Actros tractor units, along with a variety of smaller vehicles.
  2. Maintaining trailers which are a mixture of drum and disc brakes and double deck trailers.

Requirements:

  1. Level 3 NVQ in HGV Maintenance or equivalent qualification (Level 2 considered) or substantial time-served experience.
  2. Class 1 (CAT CE) driving license.
  3. Previous hands-on experience as an HGV Technician.


Training Opportunity:
Professional development. If you do not yet have an HGV license, the company will provide a fully paid HGV training course to help you advance in your career.
