Qualifications

Job description

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for Vehicle Line Manager - EE Systems to be based in Woking, The UK.

THE ROLE

Own the delivery of all Electrical / Electronic (E / E) content for an assigned vehicle line from concept
freeze to Job-1 and lifecycle—ensuring the car meets its feature set, attribute targets, quality / cost / timing (QCT) and regulatory requirements, aligned to the McLaren Development Process (MDP).

Area of Responsibility
  • End-to-end E / E delivery : Plan and drive the E / E feature set (body electronics, power & energy, networks, ADAS / active chassis interfaces, HMI / infotainment, diagnostics, cybersecurity).
  • Targets & compliance : Own E / E attribute targets, safety (ISO 26262), and homologation.
  • Quality leadership : Drive issue burn-down to gateway; use field and validation inputs.
  • Timing & risk : Manage ESC delivery schedule to milestones.
  • Cost & weight stewardship : Manage BoM cost and mass.
  • System engineering rigor : Ensure complete DVP, DFMEAs, ICDs, diagnostics, and cyber threat assessments.
  • Software & calibration readiness : Oversee SW integration and validation.
  • Supplier & partner management : Manage supplier delivery forums.
  • Build support : Lead E / E.

readiness for VP / / TT / PV builds.

People & ways of working : Lead ESC squad ensuring cross-functional collaboration.

Knowledge / Experience
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Proven leadership in E / E systems on a vehicle line or programme.
  • Strong systems engineering background (requirements, architectures, diagnostics, cybersecurity, DVP / DFMEA, EMC).
  • Supplier management and delivery to gated development processes.
