Qualifications

• Qualification NVQ Level 2 ou équivalent en maintenance de véhicules légers.
• Compréhension des diagnostics de véhicules, des mises à jour de logiciels.
• Permis de conduire britannique complet.

Responsibilities

• Réaliser des inspections de véhicules selon des procédures établies.
• Compléter des rapports sur l'état des véhicules.
• Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe pour maintenir les inspections quotidiennes.

About The Role

Join the RAC and become a pivotal part of our inspections team as a Vehicle Inspector. Whether you're a newly qualified mechanic or an experienced technician, this role offers a unique opportunity to advance your automotive career within one of the UK's most trusted brands.

As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

• An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• A full UK driving licence
