Job summary

Interaction - York is hiring a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in the Coventry area. The role pays £13.99 per hour, about £30,918 annually, with a bonus and an OTE around £35,000. Hours are 8.15am-5.45pm, Wednesday to Sunday or Saturday to Wednesday.

You will inspect vehicles, complete condition reports, and travel to BCA sites within the region. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures and reporting findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; longer travel as needed.
