About The Role

Join the RAC and become a pivotal part of our inspections team as a Vehicle Inspector. Whether you're a newly qualified mechanic or an experienced technician, this role offers a unique opportunity to advance your automotive career within one of the UK's most trusted brands.

As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
  2. Completing used vehicle condition reports
  3. Collaborating with team members to maintain daily site inspections
  4. Engaging with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

  1. An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  2. Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  3. An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
  4. Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
  5. A full UK driving licence
