Job description

Vehicle Inspector

Warrington | £12.80 per hour

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (early Friday finish)

Weekly pay | Permanent position after probation period

This role is based within a busy automotive environment, working with van conversions and supporting the smooth movement of vehicles across the site. If you've worked in vehicle movement, car auctions, or dealership yards, apply now and take the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Inspector:

  1. Safely move and park vans within the yard and compound
  2. Ensure vehicles are locked and secure when not in use
  3. Maintain accurate records of vehicle deliveries and bookings
  4. Fill out relevant paperwork
  5. Inspect the conditions of vehicles on their way in and out of the workshop
  6. Keep the management team informed of available yard space
  7. Assist with delivery paperwork and related admin
  8. Carry out general yard duties as required

What You'll Need as the Vehicle Inspector:

  1. Full UK driving licence
  2. Physically fit - you'll be in and out of vehicles frequently
  3. A reliable, proactive attitude
  4. Experience in a similar role is a bonus (e.g. vehicle mover, auction driver, compound driver)
  5. Willingness to support the team with other duties as needed
