Job summary

ManpowerGroup is offering a permanent Vehicle Damage Assessor role with a leading accident repair business in the Leeds area. You will manage repairs from initial assessment to completion, ensuring customers receive an exceptional service throughout the repair journey.

You will assess damage, capture images for estimates, liaise with customers, insurers and repair teams, monitor progress, and help prepare final reconciliations for invoicing.

Qualifications

• Experience within the automotive, vehicle repair, bodyshop, estimating, or accident repair sector is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
• Flexible, hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex would be beneficial but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assessing vehicle damage and capturing images for repair estimates.
• Liaising with customers, insurers, work providers, and repair teams throughout the process.
• Monitoring repairs and updating estimates as work progresses.
• Working closely with technicians to ensure all repair requirements are captured.
• Completing final job reconciliations and preparing work for invoicing.
