Job summary

Staffline is currently looking for Vehicle Inspection Operatives in Bristol with a pay rate of £16.78 per hour. The role is full-time with shifts including 7am to 5pm (3 on, 2 off) and 7am to 3:30pm (Mon-Fri).

You will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, battery upkeep, tyre pressures checks, refuelling, and moving vehicles to different compounds. Applicants should have clean driving records (no more than 6 penalty points, no DR10/DD offences) and demonstrate a good work ethic, safe driving,

Qualifications

• Must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences.
• No unspent DR10 or DD offences.
• Good, safe driving and parking skills are necessary, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained and stored onsite correctly.
• Battery maintenance—recharging batteries and replacing them where appropriate.
• Checking tyre pressures at pre-determined intervals using appropriate equipment.
• Re-fuelling vehicles.
• Assisting with the movement of vehicles to various compounds.

This is a full-time role and the hours of work are:

• 3 on 2 off 7am to 5pm
• Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Vehicle Inspection Operative your duties include:

• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained and stored onsite correctly
• Battery maintenance- recharging batteries and replacing them where appropriate
• Checking tyre pressures at pre-determined intervals using appropriate equipment
• Re-fuelling vehicles
• Assisting with the movement of vehicles to various compounds

Our Perfect Worker

Applicants must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences, no unspent DR10 (drink driving) or DD (dangerous driving) offences and employment references to cover the last 2 years.

Good, safe driving and parking skills are necessary as well as a good work ethic and attention to detail.
