The role
As a Vehicle Fitter, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We will train you up to be an experienced Fitter, you can expect to learn something new each day; until you become skilled in all aspects of the vehicle fitter role.

Day to day, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team supporting customers including the police, fire, and ambulance service.

  • Fit out vehicles in preparation for them being armoured
  • Remove and fit seats, panels, roof lining, door cards, interior trim, carpets, switch gear light clusters, bumpers
  • Remove and refit automotive parts and components
  • Completing minor mechanical tasks; changing brake fluid
  • Replacing mechanical components; suspension or brakes


This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall

Essential experience of the Vehicle Fitter:
The following is the preferred experience however, we are open to applicants from different industries.

  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively under own initiative, or as part of a team to achieve desired results
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

Qualifications for the Vehicle Fitter:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
