If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are recruiting for various different roles, due to securing new business wins, so keep an eye out for further opportunities.

About Finished Vehicle Solutions:

Join our team at East of England Showground, Peterborough, where we maintain a fleet of around 4,000 luxury vehicles, including Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, Genesis, and more. With about 150 dedicated colleagues, we are committed to exceptional service and quality.

By completing the estimates, work can be identified that could potentially be saved by skill set rather than work having to go through paint and body shop to maximise rate card opportunities and drive profit into department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained, assess the cost of repair and timescales. Update the system by completing a glassmatic estimate.
  • Provide estimates to the administration team to add to BMS.
  • Liaise with the inbound team to ensure fail 2's are racked up for estimating to ensure the process can be carried out smoothly.
  • Ensure accurate input of data into glassmatics with a full assessment of the vehicle being made.
  • Include paint and consumables to ensure we are recovering all costs and including contractual mark up.
  • Deliver all KPI's in line with contractual requirements and flag any concerns if these cannot be met.
  • Become the point of contact for VQS inspector to justify estimates and why items have been selected.
  • Ensure repair methods are correct with the right repair method being advocated every time.
  • Ensure all administration is compliant with attention to detail to ensure no failed estimates.
  • Process GIT estimates at team's request.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a vehicle estimating role or similar is essential.
  • Solid Bodyshop background is essential, ideally with NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds.
  • Strong communicator at various levels - ability to liaise with management/inspection team/VQS/administration team.
  • Proficient at using the computer and updating systems.
  • Understanding of fleet management and experience of working with large fleets of vehicles.
  • IT literate and able to adapt to new technologies.

What We Offer:

  • Manufacturer Training: Receive comprehensive training from top automotive brands to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Career Development: Take advantage of excellent career development opportunities within our growing organisation.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside a friendly and experienced team of professionals who are passionate about what they do.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: Utilise modern equipment and facilities designed to help you perform at your best.
