The vehicle dynamics engineer is responsible for implementing simulation tools within the Race Team and Engineering Department. He/She must maintain high standards and establish correlation between simulations and track measurements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and report rig and track testing.
  • Develop and support methods and software tools for vehicle performance analysis.
  • Propose development axes to DIL engineers and improve correlation to offline simulation.
  • Establish correlation between simulation and track measurements.
  • Support race teams with pre-event analysis through vehicle simulations.
  • Assist performance engineers with data analysis and systems optimization.
  • Analyse and report simulation, rig, and track test results.
  • Provide remote garage support during race events.

Profile:

  • An Engineering Degree with modules or experience in Vehicle Dynamics or Tires.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle dynamics, ride, and handling behavior.
  • Understanding of data analysis tools and vehicle simulation modeling.
  • Proficiency with Matlab or Atlas; PI Toolbox is a plus.
  • Experience in Matlab, Python, or Dymola is advantageous.
