Job Description

What will you be doing?

ALTEN is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer to support cutting-edge automotive projects with leading OEMs. As a consultant, you will play a key role in building and analyzing multi-body vehicle models, simulating dynamic performance, and working closely with design teams to optimize vehicle behavior.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Build and analyze multi-body vehicle models for performance evaluation
2. Simulate vehicle dynamics and assess dynamic responses
3. Collaborate with design teams to provide feedback and refine designs
4. Develop virtual whole vehicle models, including control systems and ECU designs

Who are we looking for?

1. Provide technical insights and recommendations to design teams for vehicle performance optimisation
2. Develop and implement virtual whole vehicle models, including control systems and ECU integration
3. Perform virtual tyre performance analysis to support vehicle handling and ride characteristics
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers, to refine and validate vehicle models
