Vehicle Durability Attribute Manager
Hanoi, Vietnam - (Accommodation and Expenses paid)
6-month contract to start
up to £80 per hour

This company is a part of a leading conglomerate, was established in 2017, and operates one of the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world.


As a Vehicle Durability Attribute Manager, you will lead the development and validation of durability targets at vehicle, system, and component levels. This role ensures our vehicles deliver outstanding performance under real-world conditions- thermal, structural, and misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA) and develop market-specific duty cycles.
  • Define and cascade durability targets from vehicle to component level.
  • Conduct structural failure mode analysis and life prediction.
  • Develop and validate thermal durability and misuse/abuse test plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to integrate and validate durability solutions.
  • Lead technical reviews, drive issue resolution, and mentor junior engineers.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering.
  • 15+ years in vehicle durability development and validation.
  • Expertise in RLDA, failure analysis, durability testing (CAE & physical).
  • Experience with tools like nCode, HyperWorks, LMS.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and supplier collaboration.
