Job summary

Lookers Newcastle Skoda Cupra is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Newcastle. You will perform vehicle health checks, services and repairs, working with experienced technicians and reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

The role offers up to £52,480 OTE, with a base between £28,000 and £43,000 plus bonuses, 40-hour weeks Mon–Fri and alternating Saturdays, plus strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Brand accreditation training will be provided; EV and diagnostic exposure is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on vehicles.
• Perform service checks per manufacturers' guidelines.
• Fit requested accessories and document work.
• Conduct health checks and report additional repairs.
• Check lighting, tyres, mechanical and electrical components.
• Complete paperwork to a high standard.
