Vehicle Diagnostic Sales Technician - Field Based - Midlands / Some of the North of England

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm

Salary: Competitive, may be further negotiable depending on experience

Benefits: Company car, iPad, phone, fuel card (business and personal mileage), private healthcare for you and family after successful completion of probation (4 months).

Overview

We are looking for a technically minded individual with a flair for rapport building, eager to make a step into the sales industry. Ideally, you'll have experience as a Technician / Mechanic within a Light Vehicle Workshop or in Technical Support, and be seeking a career change that leverages your technical knowledge and training.

You will receive full product training and work closely with the UK Sales Manager during your initial weeks/months, gaining support in learning the sales process and product demonstrations.

The Role
  • Selling our client's vehicle diagnostic equipment into garages/workshops within the Midlands and parts of Northern England.
  • Working with an internal sales team who will provide leads, along with cold calling, new business generation, and onsite prospecting.
Requirements
  • Technical training - NVQ in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to earn commission.
  • Comfortable handling difficult conversations and stepping out of your comfort zone.
  • Willing to develop new business through cold calling and following leads.
  • Eager to listen, learn, and follow guidance, while seeking support when needed.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, preferably with a clean record of points and convictions.

Travel throughout the region is required, with some overnight stays possible.
