Job summary

Solus Accident Repair Centres Company is seeking a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our insurer-led repair network. You will apply technical judgment from initial assessment through to repair planning, ensuring safe, fair and efficient outcomes with minimal delays.

In this role you’ll inspect vehicle damage, prepare repair methods and estimates, and collaborate with production teams to maintain high standards across the site. A background in VDA or related technical roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant VDA or technical experience with a structured, quality-first approach.
• Experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within an accident repair environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of standards and industry-recognised qualifications such as ATA or IMI-aligned competence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Prepare repair methods and estimates using recognised estimating systems.
• Identify additional damage and manage supplements fairly and consistently.
• Collaborate with Panel, MET, Paint and production teams to support repairs.
