Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support the launch and delivery of vehicle cyber security technologies into manufacturing environments. This hands-on role places you on site at Gaydon with regular travel to UK sites, acting as the cyber security expert on production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Experience in automotive testing, validation, launch or manufacturing support environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with CANoe, Wireshark and vehicle/ECU debugging.
• Understanding of vehicle cyber security technologies including SecOC, IPsec and key provisioning.
• Experience with CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet and SOME/IP.
• Familiarity with ISO 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.

Responsibilities

• Support the launch of vehicle cyber security features across new vehicle programmes.
• Analyse vehicle, ECU and End-of-Line logs to diagnose cyber-related build issues.
• Lead issue investigation, triage, root cause analysis and resolution activities.
• Implement and validate fixes on vehicles and test rigs.
• Debug using CANoe, Wireshark and Corvus.
• Support manufacturing and EOL teams with cyber security processes and fault diagnosis.
• Produce launch readiness updates, issue reports and containment plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, validation and supplier teams to prevent recurring issues.
