IAA, part of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, seeks a Vehicle Collection Driver 7.5T in Canvey Island to collect vehicles from various locations and operate an HGV with winch as needed.

The role offers a basic salary of £29,458 per year, with achievable daily bonus and paid overtime, plus full training, PPE, uniform, and pension benefits. DBS and right-to-work checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card required.
• Experience in recovery/car transporter roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and clients.
• Collect vehicles from various locations.
• Load and unload to and from our HGV vehicles.
• Drive in accordance with working and vehicle regulations and height restrictions.

Vehicle Collection Driver 7.5T

Canvey Island

Basic salary based on a 40-hour week £29,458 per annum, plus excellent achievable daily bonus and paid overtime!

The Opportunity

You will be collecting vehicles from various locations. Be loading and offloading collected vehicles from our clients and customers onto your HGV using the vehicle winch where required. Height and weight restrictions will apply, and you will need to record height before every journey using the measuring stick and cab height indicator.

• Liaising with customers and clients
• Collecting vehicles from various locations
• Loading and offloading to and from our HGV vehicles
• Driving as per regulations and legislations regarding working and driving regulations and height restrictions

Here’s What You Bring

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• Previous recovery/car transporter experience would be an advantage (full company training will be provided)
• You should have good communication and customer service skills
• Be self-motivated, organised and resilient
• Have good attention to detail
• Digital Tachograph Card
