Job summary

TWR Performance in Newbury is seeking a Vehicle Build Technician to join our small but passionate team. You will handle low volume and high performance vehicle preparation, build and assembly, ensuring readiness for testing and development.

You will interact with Design and Engineering to reach project targets, resolving build and quality issues with a proactive and detail-oriented approach in a time-sensitive environment.

Vehicle Build Technician

TWR Performance is an automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing organisation specialising in the production of high-end sports cars with the perfect balance of performance, style, functionality, and quality.

Based in our purpose-built facility in Newbury, Berkshire, we are a small enthusiastic team who continually challenge the status quo with a vision to bring the emotion back to driving.

As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Vehicle Build Technician to join the team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Complete low volume & high performance vehicle preparation, build and assembly.
• Preparation and operation of vehicles for testing and development purposes.
• Interaction with Design and Engineering teams to realise project targets.
• Consulting on and resolving build and quality issues.

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should have a good knowledge and experience of all vehicle components and sub-structures, as well as be able to undertake vehicle assembly tasks with minimum guidance. You should be able to work from your own initiative as well as part of a small team.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, have good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
