Overview

Job Title: Vehicle Appraiser

Location: Bristol, UK

Pay Rate: Up to £14.11 per hour, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Start Date: Immediate Starts Available

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 with occasional Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of vehicles on-site
• Evaluate vehicle condition, mileage, wear, damage, and modifications
• Use industry-standard tools (e.g. Glass\'s Guide, CAP HPI) to assign fair market valuations
• Create detailed vehicle appraisal reports for internal and client use
• Support insurance claims, auctions, or resales with accurate vehicle data
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain a high standard of health & safety and follow all site procedures

Essential Requirements

• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Physically fit - the role involves walking, standing, bending, and outdoor work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good understanding of cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles
• Previous experience in vehicle appraisals, inspections, or automotive roles preferred
