Vegetable Crop Manager / Harvest Supervisor job - Scotland

We are seeking an experienced person to assist with all aspects of vegetable crop management from planting to harvest. Main crops are broccoli and cauliflower.

The Role

1. Monitoring vegetable crops and ensuring best practices are followed across all field operations.
2. Leading a team of harvest staff, and motivating them to achieve excellence in productivity and quality.
3. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.

What We're Looking For

1. The ability to assess crops by walking the fields and forecast harvest times.
2. Knowledge of broccoli and cauliflower crops and a willingness to learn.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage teams effectively.
4. Russian and/or Eastern European language competency would be an advantage but not essential; however, the ability to communicate well with seasonal workers is important.
5. A driving licence is required and ideally some tractor driving experience.
