We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design Office. You will own the design and development of mechanical components, tools, and jigs related to Gearbox, Hydraulic, and Exhaust systems, from initial layouts to detailed parts. You will also enhance design workflows and mentor junior team members.

Your responsibilities include leading the mechanical design process from concept to detailed design, ensuring compliance with FIA F1 Technical Regulations, developing lightweight and reliable components, overseeing reliability, and staying current with industry advancements.

Team and Technical Guidance

Serve as the technical reference within your group, mentor junior engineers, review and approve final designs, and drive continuous improvements.

Professionalism and Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with project leaders and other departments to ensure alignment, work with suppliers, and support race events as needed. Maintain flexible work attendance aligned with project needs.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in high-performance motorsport, preferably F1.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA or Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and structural analysis.
• Experience with moulds, patterns, and tooling is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
