We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Car Systems Design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system, and their integration into the whole car package. You will contribute to concept development through detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution.

Mechanical Design

Working under the guidance of the team leader, support design work with the concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall car performance. Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed. Complete detailed design of assigned car systems components and installations on target according to planned deadlines. Communicate clearly with team members in a timely manner and support everyone in meeting their targets. Maintain and develop good relationships with other departments. Contribute ideas for car performance improvements and highlight potential issues. Keep up-to-date with latest technical developments applicable to the role. Ensure designs are released on target and to specifications.

Professionalism

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, aligning with role requirements and project specifics. Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.
