We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Car Systems Design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system, and integrating these into the whole car package. You will contribute to concept development through detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution.

Mechanical Design

You will work under the guidance of the team leader, supporting design work with the concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall performance.

You will ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed.

You will complete detailed design of assigned car systems components and installations according to planned deadlines.

You will communicate clearly with team members in a timely manner and support meeting targets.

You will maintain and develop good relationships with other departments.

You will contribute ideas for performance improvement and highlight potential issues.

You will stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments applicable to your work.

You will ensure designs are released on time and to specifications.
