We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Car Systems Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engine systems, fuel systems, gearbox cooling systems, and integrating these into the overall car package. You will contribute to the concept development through detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution for assigned components.

Mechanical Design

Work under the guidance of the team leader, supporting design efforts with concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize the impact of car systems on overall performance.

Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed.

Complete detailed design of assigned car system components and installations according to planned deadlines.

Communicate clearly and promptly with team members to support meeting targets.

Maintain good relationships with other departments.

Contribute ideas for performance improvements and identify potential issues.

Stay updated with the latest technical developments applicable to the role.

Ensure designs are released on time and meet specifications.

Professionalism

Maintain flexibility in attendance and attitude, aligning with role and project requirements.

Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.
