We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Car Systems Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engine systems, fuel systems, gearbox cooling systems, and integrating these into the overall car package. You will contribute to concept development through detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution.

Mechanical Design

Support design work with concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall performance, under the guidance of the team leader.

Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed.

Complete detailed design of assigned car system components and installations according to planned deadlines.

Communicate clearly and timely with team members to support meeting targets.

Maintain good relationships with other departments.

Contribute ideas for car performance improvements and highlight potential issues.

Stay updated with latest technical developments relevant to the role.

Ensure designs are released on time and meet specifications.

Professionalism

Maintain flexible attendance and a proactive attitude, aligning with role and project requirements.

Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.
